We’ve designed the Tablezilla Game Table for the ultimate experience in roleplaying games and board games!
We’re calling this one Tablezilla because it’s probably as large a table as we can handle!
Tablezilla is 8 feet long and 4.83 feet (58″) wide, with an interior play area of 6.1 feet (74″) by 3 feet (36″), and 11 inch edges all around. Whew! The play area is 3 inches deep and covered in velveteen cloth.
The table top is in two pieces which join together in the middle and use the edges around the play area for support, so nothing mars your table felt.
The wide 11″ edges are for leaning on (or placing a character sheet, game tokens, or puzzle pieces) with most of the play area in easy reach.
The overall table is almost 5 feet wide and 8 feet long, and designed to seat 8–12 people comfortably.
For Everyday Dining and Game Night
The classically styled table looks and works like any dining room table.
The table top fits securely over the play area, covering it and extending to the table’s edge. There are no gaps or spaces, so spills and crumbs don’t end up in your play area. We recommend the two piece table top for easier removal. The two pieces join together in the middle and use the edges around the play area for support, so nothing mars your table felt.
Cup Holders
Our cup holders are set into the playing edge of the Dining Game Table, the Streamer, and Tablezilla. Each cup holder has a black aluminum insert for easy removal and cleaning (we suggest hand washing and drying). Each is three inches deep with a three and a quarter inch interior diameter. That means they can easily hold up to 24 ounce cans and bottles (and a few larger ones depending on their design).
The cup holders are spaced to provide the most play area between them while not being placed in the middle of the GM or host’s area (at the ends of the tables).
Same Sleek Design With the Table Top On
One thing we wanted was for the tables with the cup holders to look exactly the same with the top on as those without cup holders. The top completely covers the cup holders, so with it on, your dining table still looks like your dining table. You don’t have to worry about external slide-outs making the table look odd or keeping track of separate attachable parts which may break down over time.

Dining, Counter, and Bar Height
The table at standard dining height is 30″, with 25″ of clearance underneath. Now we can offer this same design at counter height (36″) with about 31″ of clearance under it, and at bar height (42″) with about 37″ of clearance under it!
The legs of this design are 3.5″ square and solid Indonesian mahogany, connected to the table base with three steel bolts through a steel plate. Super sturdy! Read more about our construction here.
Production Time and Delivery
Production time for all products is currently estimated at 6 months, followed by several weeks for delivery.
Read more about delivery prices and options here. We Recommend White Glove Delivery for the safest, and most stress-free method of receiving your table.
Matching Seating: Chairs, Stools, and Storage Benches
We have seating available and made to match your Carolina Game Table. These are made of the same solid wood and feature a sturdy bolt and mortise/tenon construction.
The Stool functions equally as well as a small side table as it does for extra seating. The Chair is so sturdy we use it to reach high places all the time (just like you probably would at home). Our new Storage Bench offers dual purpose seating and storage for cards, board games, dice, etc., and features customizable slats to help you organize your space.

Sorry, we do not have counter or bar height seating available.
Summary of Options for the Tablezilla Game Table
Note on design change: All tables will have the seams as shown in the rotating image (GIF) above and a shinier finish for a more durable product. For more information, see this post. Some photos of tables made prior to this design change do not have the seams and may appear to have a matte finish.
You may request a more matte finish in your ordering notes, but please be aware the lacquer is more likely to chip because it is thinner.
Clicking on the images below will take you to a larger version.
Choose Cup Holders or No Cup Holders: we recommend cup holders. This adds $200 to the total price of the table.
Choose the height, finish, and fabric for your table.
