Clear Sight Lines for Cameras

Spend less on cameras with the Streamer Game Table, because the furniture itself makes getting the best angles easy! Whether you want one straight-forward shot getting all the action, an overhead pole-mounted top shot showing the table top in play, or an over the shoulder shot for variety, our table makes it easy to set up your studio fast.

The Streamer is trapezoidal with the long side facing the camera. Players sitting on the angled sides don’t block sight-lines of players sitting next to them as with a traditional rectangular or square table. Everyone is clearly visible on three sides of the table from a straight-on camera shot. The trapezoidal sides are angled so a camera placed to either side of the main camera can get a direct shot of players on the opposite side of the table.

The overall footprint of the table space is 7 feet long and 4.5 feet deep. We recommend 2 people on each of the three filming sides of the table.

Removable Top

Like all of our tables, the Streamer comes with a removable top (in two pieces so they are easier to store on set). If a game needs to be paused to resume filming on another day, the top can be put on to protect continuity. Or if a game finishes early for a live stream event, the completed game can simply be covered to play another game on top rather than taking time to put it away (or rushing and getting pieces mixed up or lost).

Wide Edges for Players

With the top off, each player has a full 11″ (portrait length) edge of play space for their own personal game pieces, dice, cards, character sheets, etc. The camera side has a shorter 4″ width so it’s easier for the camera to see the shared interior play space. As with our other tables, the interior play area is lined with commercial grade velveteen, noted for high durability and stain resistance. It also feels amazing! The massive play area scales from 69″ at it’s widest, on the camera side, and 36″ on the Game Master side.

Hide Cables and Clamp Mounts

All sides have a 2″ lip around them to run wires or cables along the underside of the table edge. The lip is also 1″ thick for a solid connection for clamp mounts at any point around the table.

Each corner has a standard 7/8″ hole for pole mounts, which can be used for normal camera/mic set ups or even with a taller pole for a top-down shot without having to set up a full overhead camera rig. The removable top has deeper beveled corners too, so it doesn’t cover anything mounted in those locations. The top can be put on and removed without having to reset any attached gear.

In short, we’ve designed this table with streamers and for streamers.

Dining, Counter, and Bar Height!

The table at standard dining height is 31″ (dining top adds 1″; table base is 30″ high), with 25″ of clearance underneath. Now we can offer this same design at counter height (37″) with about 31″ of clearance under it, and at bar height (43″) with about 37″ of clearance under it!

The legs of this design are 3.5″–4″ (they are not square like our other table designs) and solid Indonesian mahogany, connected to the table base with three or four steel bolts through a steel plate. The variations in leg design are to support this unique table–you’ll want to see it to understand. It’s super sturdy! Read more about our construction here.

Production Time and Delivery

Production time for all Personalized orders averages 6 months, followed by several weeks for delivery.

You are invoiced for shipping once production ends. We recommend White Glove Delivery for the best way of receiving your table. It’s not the fastest way to ship but it is the cheapest and safest.

Please note our Payment Policies. Deposits are non-refundable. This is a custom piece of furniture which is not put into production until you design it.

We’re one of the most respected manufacturers of game tables in the business. Carolina Game Tables launched with the first-ever game table Kickstarter in 2015. Owners Clint and Jodi Black are also known in the tabletop game industry for their work with Savage Worlds TTRPG, Pinnacle Entertainment Group, and their licensees. We are a family business, 90% owned and operated by women. Our family and staff stand by the quality of our products and take pride in our customer service. Summary of Options for the Personalized Streamer Game Table

Note on design change: All our tables currently have a high gloss finish for a more durable product—EXCEPT for the Streamer Game Table. A matte finish is standard to prevent reflections.

By ordering matte finish, you acknowledge that it is more likely to chip and scratch because there are fewer layers of polyurethane lacquer. (We know seeing fingerprints can just be a dealbreaker for some households, of course! The table finish should be fine as long as it’s treated like the fine piece of mahogany it is. Pets and children are the usual culprits for damage to tables.).

Clicking on the images below will take you to a larger version.

Choose 6 Cup Holders or No Cup Holders: we recommend cup holders. This adds $150 to the total price of the table. It also makes the table lighter for shipping and easier to move. When moving the table on/off set, the cup holders are the easiest way to do this: four people put their hands through the corner cup holders and have an easy handhold.

Choose the height, finish, and fabric for your table.
