A prospective customer emailed me recently. “How sturdy are your tables?”

“Sit on it. We’ll be at Gen Con next week, and I hope you’ll test it out for yourself.”

“SIT on it? Seriously?”

(I got a good laugh out of this. Yes, seriously.)

If you’d like to test the strength of our tables, come by the booth and sit on one of the side ledges (we do!). And while you’re there, feel free to crawl underneath and see the three bolt steel corner brace construction at each corner. Most full-size tables use just two bolts through a wooden corner slat. While we only use two bolts on our smaller Coffee Game Table it is still through a steel corner brace.

While under the table, you can also check out the bolts fastening the inner play area to the rest of the table. It’s not simply an insert but firmly attached to the entire table.

We know gamers.

And gamers lean on the table. And stack books. And when they get excited, they smack the table top.

We wanted a table that could not only stand up to that use but last for a very long time. So we have an extra bolt on 4″ square legs for stability, steel corner braces for strength, solid wood frame for durability, a securely attached play area for dependability, and a wide ledge to support the top or anything else on it…even a person.

Clint attaches the legs to the table. Note the three bolts and steel plate construction. Now that's a sturdy table!
